We would play Miss Mary Mack

Then you stabbed me in the back

Still trying to figure out what I lack

It felt like a sneak attack

Made a part of my heart turn black

Snow fell

I wouldn’t tell

I had never heard you yell

Your friendship I would never sell

It faded with the sounding of that bell

I thought we’d be close forever

I guess I was never that clever

Those ties definitely did sever

When did I hate you? Never

On your kindness you never did deliver

Now I try to leave that part of my life blank

Run over it, turn it into rubble with my tank

My thick skin, to you I can thank

Now I watch as I make would-be-friends walk the plank

You gave me animosity, and I drank
